Well, it's been about five months from the lies of my last entry, so I figured I should update.

The truth is I'm all but leaving dA. More than likely no more deviations (unless I get around to scanning old stuff), few new journals, little browsing, and probably only comments going to close friends. I simply don't have the time.
Lies again. I'm on facebook all the time. XD I just don't like messing around on here much anymore, except to see my pageview numbers 'cause I'm a pageview whore. I do check it at least once a week, though.

I am too busy these days, and lacking much desire or inspiration for art, so it's just not being produced. Unless you count me trying to draw hot guys in my notes when I'm bored. XDD There's been a lot of shit attempts to draw Masayoshi. lol

So, what's going on? Quite a fuckin' bit, really! haha I have gone insane with activities.
Along with my regular course load, I have taken on a lot of extra curriculars. I joined our Japanese Culture Society and organized a Japanese conversation group. Now I've just been elected for JCS vice president (which isn't saying much since I FAILED the interview, but was the only applicant for four openings...) which will eat up a lot of time next semester. I've also just got my self a conversation partner, who would like to meet twice a week. I'm also looking into part-time work and continuing our conversation group. And I'm taking 6 credits of 400-level Japanese next semester!! I'm actually really quite excited. :3
I'm also working on more direct future-oriented things. I just took Japanese Language Proficiency Test (THE test for Japanese, run by Japanese government. I think Department of Education?) at level 3. Killed that thing. It's actually a VERY low level, so it only proves I'm not a total and complete idiot, but at least I will be certified! And I know the testing format for when I take level 2 next year. (It's sooo much harder...) I also am hoping to take an online TEFL course for certification, making me look like a slightly better hire when I apply for English teaching jobs. Conversation partner and possible part-time jobs as either a Japanese tutor or an ESL volunteer should be good for this goal, too. :D
Again, I'm just excited about all this crap. XD Hope I'm not getting in over my head, though. ^^;;

Annnnd, relationship-wise things are going quite squish-ily. X3333 Masayoshi in all his hotness is staying in contact with me again, excited that I may return for a visit next year, and at the very least treating me like a legitimate friend. The crush may turn out to be all one-sided, but he DOES know I really like him, and he did not seem to mind at all going on dates, so we shall see~~~

I'm very busy and things get rough at times, but I think the future is looking pretty darn good. :D Pretty happy 2009 has had such an awesome turn around for me. ^^

If you are truly in need of further info from me, feel free to read my livejornal. I usually update at LEAST every week, and it's full of all kinds of crap. Or friend me on facebook if you'd like. :D

Starting some arting

omg, I have art news for once! I have started laying down base colours for Only Male Fairy, and I'm hoping he won't take too long. Have some other projects I'd like to work on too. I have one request from Cat that I think I'll just scan the draft of. I have a second request that I MAY get around to. Some other things started that I'd like to complete someday, and lately I'm full of gushy ideas. Though I think the gushy ones will probably never come to be. XD

Things otherwise are going pretty well. Get the occasional e-mail from Masayoshi, which first sends me into swirly happiness then makes me panic as to how I should respond. Studying Japanese everyday, and also hitting up the Wii Fit and Rock Band a lot. And lots of hang out time with the ~madtipsy. We're gonna hit up the next county over's fair later this month. Never been to it, so I'm excited. XD

"New" blog is up and going. [link] It's pretty dull, but saves my dA journal from being quite so rambly. I post quizzes there too, but usually as friends-only. If you actually are THAT interested, friend me on it.

Some crap, but lots of good. ^^

I am home, which is rough but ok. I have a hard time dealing with my mom, but I think we both understand. For one thing she STILL talks to me about my plans and things as if I'm in high school. @_@ Gonna have to work on that. Daniel and I are getting along pretty well. Visited my grandparents, which was nice. Cats and dogs are happy to have me back. And spent three days basically with ~madtipsy. :D

Had sooooo much fun with her this week. Wednesday I showed up at her work and surprised her, hung out 'til evening, got icecream, went for food, and ended up running into an old friend and hanging out 'til after midnight.
Thursday was the VAMPS concert in Baltimore. Ended up just Mel and I attended. It was cool, even though not nearly the insane musical perfection that was the L'Arc American concert. (Actually, after seeing that made me wanna listen to more L'Arc again. lol) We squeezed our way up front and got all gross and sweaty and stuff. XD I was pretty calm and quiet so I could pay attention. Though I thought after, I probably woulda been SO out of it had it been L'Arc again. lol It was cool though, lots of fun. :D Got home around 4 am.
Mel stayed on couch and we ended up accidentally hanging out all day again. In the afternoon we went for ice cream and ended up chatting outside Dairy Queen for like three hours. XD Sunday we hang out in State College, send her sister off to Pittsburgh, and hopefully do a little shopping.

Things are going well with Masayoshi. <3 <3 <3 And by well I mean that he responded to my e-mail. XD He sounded interested in all I had to say though, responding thoroughly. He also sent me one of the pics his mom took, and asked I send a picture of my house. He's really curious about the differences. I think it's cool he wants to see. ^^ Said he cut his hair since it's the hot season now. Wanna ask what it's like and maybe say how awesome I thought the old style was, but not sure if I can say that without sounding too forward... Then again, we joked about sex over dinner at a family restaurant. lol Oh did I mention that part? He actually took me to his family's second house thinking he'd get lucky. Poor guy was so disappointed when I said I was waiting, but took it really sweetly. ^^ And I later was a little upset saying he probably lost interest. "No, no! I haven't lost interest! If you'd like to, well, heh, that be pretty great. But I haven't lost interest!" He was very sincere too. Really happy with his reaction. :D
Wah, I wish we had more time together. I think we'd make a good couple, at least for a while. But I'm just keeping him as motivator for study. lol Love to get a chance to try for real. :D

I should probably look into getting a "real" blog, hrm...

So, things have gone pretty darn well since I got that number. There was some weird things that came up 'cause his mom tracked me down and called me a few times, but it was all ok. She was upset at first 'cause I didn't call him right away. lol I thought you weren't supposed to seem desperate, but that doesn't apply in Japan? Well, she is a wee bit crazy, but she's friendly and she likes me. She also taught me his first name, Masayoshi. :D
We met on that Thursday for a preliminary date, just talk a bit. It was 10pm though, after he got off work, so we had to drive to Nishi Funabashi to find a place that was open. We talked a bit and he seemed to like me, said I was really cute and resemble old-style Japanese ladies. ^^ He also made me explain why I asked him out, which was embarrassing. lol
Saturday was the "real" date. His parents picked me up and took me way up north, and the talking on the way went pretty well. His mom came to Japan 32 years ago with NO Japanese, so they're impressed with my skillz, not annoyed. I met his siblings then, had a tour of the house, then the parents took us for a fancy lunch. His mom tried to make me eat SO much! @__@ I have such little appetite usually. But she means well. And Masayoshi was observant and knew to help me fend off the over-feeding.
Then the two of us headed out for the evening. We were going to a major mall, but had a flat tire! He was embarrassed, but I didn't mind at all. It made it more adventurous! Then we headed out for a loooong time and got to Chiba New Town. Did purikuri (Which I'm told is a major relationship step. lol) and then saw Transformers. Not my kind of movie, but I enjoyed myself a lot. Then we ate at Denny's. XD
Got to know more about him through the whole time, I did my darndest to make full use of my language skills, and he was very patient. I even asked him if I could use short form (For those familiar to you or "beneath" you only!) and he laughed and said, "Of course, we know each other now!" It's hard for me to use, so I'm glad for practice. He also started calling me "Hana-chan" and using ore instead of watashi (Both roughly mean "I".) That and singing along with B'z in the car (He likes too!) just made me pretty melty.

We are to do something together again my last day here. I was scared maybe he was loosing interest, but he seemed so happy to see me in 7-11 today. ^^ He also asked for some US contact info. I figure I will try giving staying in contact a shot, but I want him to be open to other girls. Also need to tell him of Skype. XD
Figure things will not work out, but who knows? I won't let myself fall in love anytime soon, though. I know better than that. Right now I'm just really excited 'cause I really do like this guy. I'm just conflicted, he is REALLY great so far. But it's been only a few weeks since I've been ready for any sort of dating and I'm leaving so soon. Otherwise I'd be all over keeping dating. We'll see how it goes and I'll try not to get too weird and also not hurt him, either.

Daaaaaaaamn, is he hot by the way. At least in my opinion. XD

Sorry, like I said, I'm excited. ^^;;;; Just wanna share

OMG, there is the cutest boy at 7-11 and he's remembered me the since the other day and actually says stuff to me. In a friendly way, not a you-are-my-customer kind of way. And my god, is he cute. Like, COUNTING celebrities, one of the cutest guys I've ever seen.
Well, after lots of hyping up I decide to ask him out. I never ask anyone out before, let alone do in Japanese. So scared. But it went soooo smooth, all things considered!! I even got his number! Though afterward I had to buy from him and was shaking, so maybe he is weirded out. And I giggled worse than when he recognized me last night, and THAT time I had giggled outside and he could not see.
Not sure if a date will ever occur or how it will go but ooooommmmmmggggggg I don't care. I'm just happy my first moves on a guy went well and he seemed kinda interested. :DDDDD

But there was a super-strange part to this. Ben randomly calls for first time in weeks while I'm IN class. Thinking an emergency I answer and he just wanted to see how I was. O_o;;; I told him clearly the situation, and he actually ganbatte'd me and tried to pep talk me. He meant that, but also meant that he's interested in trying again come August.
WTF??? My romantic situations are so freaking weird and hard to comprehend right now. I should be in a drama!

But now I want more time in Japan to see how things could pan out with Hatakeyama-san. :faint:
Yeah, this is a dumb entry to waste your time with. (Quizzes, however, are NOT! lol)

Not too relatedly, I now have over half of B'z discography. 9 albums, 3 best of's. Only 7 more albums! lol And I have two lives, too. Koshi's pretty fun to watch. >.>;;;;
